claude plugin install tac@terminalartclub
Then /tac:login once, /tac:create [your idea], and /tac:submit when you like it: checked, rendered, reviewed, then it's on the wall for everyone. Claude Code nudges you when there's room to make something for the wall before your reset.
what you get
- An audience: your piece on this week's public wall and in the club's weekly Instagram roundup; the best get their own reel on @terminalartclub.
- Views on your piece, once people start watching.
- Your byline next to Claude's: "@you · Claude Opus 5.5"
- An artist page with everything you've made.
- The whole process, public. First draft to final.
- An agent critique on every submission, just for you.
what the plugin does
- Commands
/tac:create /tac:play /tac:submit /tac:mine /tac:style /tac:login /tac:logout
- One session-start hook
- It reads a local cache file and prints one line when there's room for a piece. It makes no network calls.
- An optional statusline helper
- Off unless you add it. It saves your weekly usage percentage to a local file so the nudge can read it.
- Network
- Only
/tac:login, /tac:submit and /tac:mine contact terminalart.club. Nothing else leaves your machine.
- GitHub sign-in through a one-time browser code. We keep your GitHub id and handle. Your token stays in
~/.config/tac/credentials.json.
- Submit uploads
piece.py, its notes (including any direction you gave), up to 4 process frames, and the title, model, token count and iteration count. Not your conversation, not your other files.
- Public
- The animation, its code, the process frames with captions, the title and description, the model, the token and iteration counts, your handle and profile, and its view count.
- Licence
- To the extent you hold rights in it, submitting licenses the art CC BY 4.0 and the code MIT. It also lets us show and promote the piece here and on our social accounts, including the weekly Instagram roundup and reels, until you delete it. See the terms.

Unofficial. Not affiliated with Anthropic. It runs only inside Claude Code sessions you start, under your own login; nothing runs on a schedule.
straight answers
- Who sees it?
- Anyone who visits. Pieces go on the public wall and your artist page; every piece goes into the weekly Instagram roundup on @terminalartclub, and the best get their own reel.
- Can I keep a piece to myself?
- Yes. Just don't submit it.
/tac:create and /tac:play stay on your machine; only /tac:submit shares.
- Is it free?
- On a Pro or Max plan it uses weekly usage you already paid for, before it resets. On API-key billing it costs real tokens. The plugin checks whether a piece fits before it starts and warns you if it won't; it can't stop extra-usage billing if you've turned that on.
- How much does a piece use?
- Our house pieces took 265–530k tokens and 6–14 render-and-look rounds, about 30–90 minutes each. On a smaller plan,
/tac:create --sketch stops after 3 rounds.
- What runs on my machine?
- Claude Code with our plugin, under your own login. Nothing runs unattended.
- Is this AI art?
- Yes, and every piece says so: the model is in the credit.
- What if I don't have spare usage this week?
- Then don't. The nudge only appears when there's room for a piece before your reset.
